I hope he never comes back, that if he tries to come back no one will take him, and I'm glad his last NFL game was a loss. Much more fitting for the loser that he really is.

I think he probably will. Let's be honest with ourselves though, most people won't remember his last year with the Jets, but all those years with the Pack.

    Pats, starting over Brady.

That would be like the biggest most controversial NFL news...ever.

For those who haven't noticed I am a huge Packers fan. Obviously I loved Favre for years. It pisses me off that he had to go and tarnish what would've been THE legacy. For one year? With the Jets!? What the hell? He's an a$$hole for forcing the Packers to engage in all that nonsense. To a lot of people it looks like the team were the bad guys, but c'mon, how many years in a row does a team have to put up with those antics? It shows that he wasn't fully committed. Better or worse Aaron is committed and ready to go. True Packer fans are just that, Packer fans... before Favre fans. I'm sure he wont lose too much sleep over it, but he's the one who has to live with how many people he let down.

I hope we never have to hear anything from him again. It was proven over & over how much he lied about the whole retirement deal & how the Packers were supposedly treating him. He lied about contacting the Vikings, he lied about supposedly talking to the Lions about game plans, etc. he slammed Thompson over & over, yet it was all his doing because he's the one who retired & said later on he was staying retired.

I think the Packers should have the last laugh & not retire his Jersey, maybe give #4 to Rodgers backup just to piss Favre off.

I've said this before - many "packer's fans" in GB were really "Favre" fans. I don't know if you've spent any time in GB, but these people take their football WAY too seriously. I really sincerely wish the ****ing Pack would move to Milwaukee... Never been a Packer's fan at all, but Favre was a good guy until he started all this nonsense.

Re: Maybe he will stay gone this time...

I honestly couldnt care less what Favre does. Ive lived in Wisconsin all my life and I am a Packer fan (not a Favre fan, a Packer fan) and when he played all those retirement games, he lost my respect.
My attitude towards Favre is like the attitude I would have about any ex-girlfriend. Sure, there were some good times, but its over and its time to move on.
We've got a good quarterback who, IMO, will grow into being a great quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, so I couldnt care less what Favre does.

Thats not as far fetched as it sounds. IF the Pats trade Cassel and Brady is not ready to return by opening day, I believe that scenario is a possibility. Favre has wanted to throw to Moss for a while now and this would be an opportunity for Favre to go out on top.
