My favorite team, the UT Vols won a nail biter, 63-7 against Western Kentucky,

Wisconsin won easily, although for some reason they backed off in the 4th quarter & let NIU back into the game.

U of H Coogs beat Northwestern St 55-7, and the real UT put it on UL Monroe 59-20? Good day for football in Texas, not to mention that Oklahoma was beat by BYU IN TEXAS!

Did anyone catch the LSU vs Washington game? I fell asleep towards the end, and Washington ended up losing by a touchdown, but they played VERY well for a team that went 0-12 last year.

I think it's gonna be a great college football season.

Yeah,---I was in MadTown so I scalped some tickets for the game. Face value in the sun on a nice day. We sat next to Lisa Stone ,the UW women's basketball coach.

QB Tolzien was on. Phillips(QB) needed the experience but IMO was a momentum breaker. RB Clay needs to make decisive moves quicker. CB is going to be the Badgers weakness. Wide receivers and TE the strengths. Man they were open all over the place. Multiple receivers on the same play. Tolzien had his choice.

I was at the Taste earlier in the day, number of guys trying to sell tickets there. Considered going but we were on the bike & I won't ride after dark around here due to the immense population of deer.

The Miami and FSU game Monday night was great, back and forth all night long.

My Vols play UCLA this coming weekend, then Teebow and the Gators the following game. Hopefully UCLA will give us a better indication of how good we are in preparation for the showdown with the reptiles. Florida is playing 2 total push overs before the Vol game. I hope they aren't ready, but I'm not going to hold my breath, :laugh:
