Who's gonna win the BIG TEN?

Eight teams within a game of each other. Everyone keeps beating each other up in this conference. Best conference in NCAA! So, who's gonna win it?

Illinios, Michigan, Michigan St, Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio St., Purdue, Penn St, Northwestern, or Minnesota.

You have to be HIGH The big ten is not even close to being the best conference. ACC is clearly the cream of the crop. Year in year out the Big Ten (how many teams are in the Big Ten) ends up with two or three teams that do anything with what they have.

both of you know nothing... the Big east is the #1 team... they have 10-11 teams that are expected to make it into the tournament at the end of the year. and duke just got knocked off so even duke is vulnerable from the ACC. But the Big 10 is a strong conference. They always end up having 4-5 teams in the sweet 16 and usually theres a team in the final four.

O.K., I'll go back to my Dungeon, don't worry, I won't be saying that the Big 12 is the best. They are just awful this year, hopefully KU can manage to get in

Why are you only looking at the last 25 years? Did they not play basketball before 1980?

The only ACC teams on that list are Duke and NC...that doesn't make a whole conference. There are 3 Big East teams on the wins list...doesn't that make them better?

Personally, I think that list is a waste of time anyways. It simply shows the best team based on their conference and how easily they can beat up on their cupcake schedule, not the strength of their conference. We all know Penn is such a big powerhouse and the 8th best team the last 25 years, beating up on teams like Rice, Yale, Harvard. Now something like Tournament wins may be a different story.

Heck, Duke is the only team on that list ranked in the Top 20

I only went back that far because thats what i chose to do. Just because there are three big east teams on the list doesn't mean anything. Year in year out the ACC is the toughest conference in the country.

Actually, you're on the right track, but there is more to it than that.. I'm mad because Roy went to NC and Played Illinois (were our current coach came from) for the championship last year, and Kansas got beat by a PA school in Bucknell.

Right now I'm just hoping KU gets into the tournament. Although they are lookin' better recently.

I was actually not to sad to see Roy go, he was one of the best coaches I've seen but I thought he took them as far as they could go. After they lost with Raef Lafrenz (SP?) and Paul Pierce, I figured they would have a hard time winning anytime. He just seemed to have a hard time bringing a team back when they were down.

you catch the game today??? self has them coming together pretty good. i think we win two more and we're in the big dance, we better go farther than last year, i'm still mad about that one. if only we could keep all our freshmen together for 4 years, what a team that'd be...
if we're lucky, we get one more year out of Rush, chalmers is in for the long haul, and wright is really coming into his own. we just sit him inside the zone defense and let him pick it apart with his great passing. this team really has the tools to possibly go deep into the tourney, but we'll see. no team is really dominant this year, should be fun to watch.

haha, kentucky is number 1 on that list, i think KU beat them by 30 right? probably the brief shining moment of the year.

We didn't get the game up here, but I did see they won to make it 7 in a row. I'm thinking they will probably make it in.

I also saw Downs is going to Gonzaga now. They do have by far the youngest team I have seen at Kansas since I started there back in '83. If they stay together they should be good. It looks like they are starting to come together, and in all honesty as young as they are, I didn't really expect it to happen as soon as it did.
