Im from Australia, both myself and Golfman2760 are die hard Canterbury Bulldog fans. Dont know a great deal about the ESL, but would enjoy talking about the Tri Nations etc

I love the rugby league

I heard one time an american gridion player came to Australia and when Michael Withers (Bradford Bulls player in the superleague) asked him to play Rugby League

the Gridion player asked what about the pads,helmets and protection?

Withers said nah mate we dont use that s*** here

all of a sudden this Gridion player wasnt as tough as he was talking himself up to be

my brother said he refused to play without protective gear

ffs what a wuss, League is much better without it
probably the only thing worth using for protection in League is a mouthguard so you dont lose any teeth like Anthony Topou did last year in City vs Country
