My swing (5 iron)

I've recently been really getting into golf, and have been trying to play atleast once a week. I recorded my swing in my back yard here, and was hoping somebody could give me some tips.

In the video I didn't realize when taping that I was cutting off that much from the top of the camera view. I hope you guys can still see good enough of what's going on though.

I'm using a 5 iron in this video...

Edit: Mike1218 posted the video link for me, because I can't do links yet. So for the video link, look in the post below.

There you go, Seventh.
I don't know if I should comment on your swing. Wait for someone like charnockpro.

Looks like you might be coming over the top abit on the back swing, then re-routing on the way down which might hinder your ball striking. Try keeping your left arm straighter and shortening your backswing.

Here's my swing. Any help or comments appreciated.

Watch your side view in the slow motion a few times. Do you see the flip? The hands should pass over the ball before the clubhead, you are flipping it and the head is way in front. Try maintaining the shaft angle though impact. A good was to practice this is by just hitting chips and short pitch shots, hinge the wrists so the hands come first and there is about a 15* angle to the clubhead trailing behind, do not break the wrists on these short pitches and chips.

Are you hitting a ball in those videos? It looks like you filmed a practice swing, which is definitely not the one you want people to analyze...

Oh, well I may make another film shortly then. I didn't know that.

@ others: Thanks for the feedback so far though.
