My swings....

Hi all,

Thought I'd finally get round to getting a video of my swing for some advice.
Main issue I have is just not consistantly flushing the connection between club and ball. More times than not the strike feels laboured (best description I can come up with at the moment lol)

www.dale-harrison.com/dale_1.mpg

www.dale-harrison.com/dale_2.mpg

Both clips taken on my phone (Nokia N95) so not sure on quality...

Currently a 10 handicapper, been floating around there for a while! Any advice welcome

Thanks,

Dale.

I did an analysis on the SwingAcademy site, but it didn't save. Aaarrggh.

Anyway...

Are you trying to do a "stack and tilt"? Because it looks like you have a big reverse-pivot to me. I looked at your 60-deg. wedge side view clip. First off, I think your ball position is way too far back in your stance. Then, at the top, your left shoulder, right knee, and right instep should be aligned. You're using your left hip as the pivot, instead of properly using your right hip.

Thanks mate, I'll certianly take that lot into consideration!
Hopefully I'll see a marked improvement in consitency of ball striking....

(Oh, and I have no idea what a stack and tilt is! lol) - ...and I also realised that the ball was too far back, normally i'd play it a bit further forward....
