I got to play the Jack Nicklaus course in Panama City Beach this summer, sweet. If you get a chance, check it out, its worth it.

I played there years ago before they commissioned Nicklaus' firm to redesign it....

At the time I played it, the course had the highest slope rating in the U.S....I recall it being about 151-152...losing 10 balls was easy....

Hubert Green actually 'played out of BayPointe' during the last few years of his PGA career and hated the course...

The course got such a bad reputation, that vacationing golfers stayed away from it. The owners of the resort knew that it had to be redone to survive.

I hope the renovations went well...sounds like you had a good time....
