Birmingham, AL (USA) metro

In deference to our English friends....Birmingham USA is named after Birmingham England...both centres of industrial commerce. We also have suburbs named Leeds and Chelsea.....surprise...the trend continued. All in Jefferson County (named for Thomas Jefferson) Alabama.

Our little Birmingham, Alabama is a fraction of the size of Birmingham, England....just 1.1 million people spread over a mountainous area.....

Here are some photos of the outer Birmingham area....the Appalchian Mountains....photos of the home of a new associate of mine. My goal is to do as well as he has done financially. By education, he is a nurse.

Correct, just look at the pictures above and replace the trees with buildings that looked old fashioned and crap when they were built.

Looks amazing Bravo. Would love to visit somewhere like that. I was in Birmingham a couple of months ago it wasn't that nice though the Sutton coldfield area we stayed in was nice enough.

The best thing about Birmingham is the Belfry and the bonus is the Toll road gets you there in no time at all.
