So far, so good. I got it in two days ago and I've only been to the range with it. I like my Hibore, but I seem to hit these shots that go straight until the very end then fall off hard right. Not really a slice per se, just a funky ending. The R7 seems to fly better and a bit longer.

The weather has gone to poop this week and it looks like a few days before I get it on the course to give it a go. I'll let you know then.

I must say I am not a real "long" hitter right now. My drives seem to go around 200'ish. Still too new to give a real driver review.

For the first time since I started 6 years ago, I have no club in my bag that I would currently even consider changing, and really have no desire to even try any other club. The TEE's are new, and are the only clubs in my bag that have not yet earned a permanent spot nor have they even been on the course yet. I am hoping that is only a matter of time before they earn that spot. I do have an 18* Baffler on the shelf that I have switched out with my 7w on occasions, and usually start each year with it in the bag. I'm guessing that will not be the case this year with the brand new TEE's.

Is that a headcover or did you steal the head off of a mascot?

Any time my driver starts acting up, I threaten to give the headcover a Mohawk if it doesn't straighten out my driver. So far in the 2 years I've had it, it has held from getting the Mohawk. Although the think can be downright comical looking in the rain and as I say, it even starts to "Molt"

Here are the 2 that used to be in the bag with him, until they kept falling off the Fairway Woods and I had to go back and get them. Decided it was just too much of a PITA.

Oh I see I'm glad some one is liking the r7 draw I really hated mine because it said it should straighten out my drives and it made them worse. I hit about same distance but I am only 15 and my instructor says distance will come when I'm around 18 or 19. But good luck w/ the r7.

6 iron is MIA since I had to send it back to Taylor Made. The weighted insert in the back fell out somewhere...

Got a different bag and a few new sticks. Callaway Warbird Hot and finally got my Maltby CT250 driver and 5 wood in the bag. Also have my awesome $6.50 AMF putter which is suprisingly good for the price (except for the grip).
