2008 Wisconsin ST Open

Here's some pics from our Shot Talk Open for Wisconsin and almost Lyle. We missed his presence, but we had a great time. Left to right: Fitzpatrick, Warbirdlover, sssmokin, Zaphod's son Eric, Mike1218, Wi-Golfer, and Zaphod.

If anyone remembers our last year pics............I'm sure you noticed how much weight zaphod has lost (and how much sssmokin has gained). Zaphod is half the man he was last year............(size-wise only.........LOL). Fitzpatrick took some good course pics.

This was a NASTY course. Very tough. The team of zaphod, wi-golfer, mike1218 and Fitzpatrick wiped out the team of zaphod's son Eric, sssmokin and WBL. WBL and sssmokin held Eric back but it was a fun day. Jake and Elwood looked good, don't you think?

The young guys (Fitz, Eric and mike1218) really can hit that little ball. Zaphod's no hack either. I guess that leaves sssmokin, WBL and Wi-Golfer as the hacks. But we did hit some good and important shots!!

BTW - in the 4th to last picture, why is WBL trying to thread the ball through that gap in the trees? The green is to his right.

The green went all across, and the pin was on the left side. Also, WBL still has that eye problem, and can't see where he's aiming.

EXACTLY...............only he hits it further right than the blue line when aiming on the red line.

Geez you guys. I had already HIT that shot and it was right ON the pin BTW... And no beers because this course is on the "Baptist Assembly" land.... (But everyone except Mike1218 had a few after at the restaurant in Green Lake)...
