    Our trip to the Legacy courses at Cragun's golf resort

    About 2 weeks ago the wife and I took off and spend 4 days in Brainerd Minnesota. We stayed at the Cragun's golf resort where they have 2 courses. Both are RTJ designs and are excellent tracks, the condition was awesome and the greens were like nothing I have ever experienced. The course super I talked too said they try and have tour style greens as thats what many of the guests seem to want. They stimp them every morning and they were between 10 and 11 the whole time we were there. The price of the trip was excellent. We got 3 nights lake view hotel, 3 excellent dinners, 3 buffet breakfasts and 4 rounds of golf (2 on each course) including power carts, unlimited range, and unlimited play on the par 3 exec course all for $449 per person.

    Great pics lyle...fantastic looking course and 449/person is a fantastic price is that on a deal you got or is that the regular advertised price?

    Its the mid week price. Got there on a Monday. We played as a 2 some the whole time, and never waited on a single shot over 4 rounds. We pretty much had the course to ourselves the first 2 days. The courses were unreal. How I wish I could play these on a daily basis. I played from the blues the first 2 days and from the tips the last 2 days. From the tips they sloped at 145 and 149. I shot 83 on the last day, playing a full 6900 yards with a slope of 149 and a rating of 74 on a par 72. I was tickled pink to say the least.

    Wow, the tips would be a bit too much course for me...the reds would probably be more my speed...

    Hard to tell who looks more pregnant too. I really need to start exercising again.
