Nice bag no pics of your clubs without the Headcovers though?

Spin Milled 54 & 56? Seems a strange combo has the 54 been bent to 52 or do you just use the 56 out of sand and the 54 as a lofted gap wedge?

Was thinking the same about the wedges. Very nice clubs, love the irons.

FAT - I ho'd some Forged TP's. Completely different irons. Pics to follow...! :-)

MG - I actually don't carry both at the same time. I carry the 54 in the wet and the 56 in the dry. This is because if the bunkers get wet, they have no sand in them and they get a bit flat, so I take the 54 for a bit more power out of them.

I am due new wedges, so I will get a 56 and ditch the other two. I have a 52 TM but it's old so I only use it occasionally!

If your gap wedge is old why not take your 54 Spin milled to a golf shop/range where they do loft and lie, get them to bend it to 52 and Hey Presto it becomes your new Gap wedge. Plus, If I remember correctly bending it down 2 degrees will also reduce the bounce angle by 2 degrees, so if it's a 54.10 it would become a 52.08 I know a few people who have done this as they wanted a SM Gap wedge and it works out pretty well.

I would do that, but the grooves and the face are completely knackered. I'll do it when I buy a new one, although I don't overly need a SM 52.

How do you like that rescue?

I'm thinking about grabbing one today, or something similar.

I love it, but I would strongly suggest that you get a lower lofted one. That's a 1 rescue. It's as strong as my 3 wood. The only difference being I can hack out of rough better with the rescue than the 3 wood, and the rescue shoots lower. Still a great club, and you can do a lot with it!
