Photos from the last tournament of the 2005 season

Here are some pics from the last tournament of the season for me. This was a men's association "Halloween Howl" tournament at my home course, Valley View, in Layton, Utah.

The tees were put anywhere but on the usual tee boxes. The pins were put in the toughest possible location and often in illegal places too close to the fringe. This was a strictly for-fun tournament, but had the usual flights and payoffs.

There was a very long rain delay of at least an hour and a half. I think about half the field left with a refund. The weather was very comfortable after the storm. I just watched football and talked with fellow players while waiting.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the placement of that tee box in the second last picture. Is the point to have to hit a punch shot off the tee?

There was a clear area for a full swing. The fairway is to the right in that picture. I hit the driver in the fairway, got on, and 2-putted for par on that hole.
