Two rounds in two months

I played between Christmas and New Year's and then on January 14th.

Since then, its either been too cold or too wet to play. What an effing winter....I should have at least 3-4 rounds in by now...

By the end of the month, Ima gonna be making up for lost time though....

Come on, Bravo. I'm 90 miles south of you, but I'm out almost every weekend. 'Course, Saturday I almost froze my digits off by the last three holes, but still. I was on the course.

Let's see....my last round was October 15th, and that was in Texas. Before that, it was September 20th.

I carry a wedge around my house. This isn't normal.

C'mon, Bravo. If I can play every weekend here, so can you. We're almost neighbors.

It's been below -0º F all week. -21º F this morning. And supposed to be below zero the rest of this week. Not to mention the foot of snow on the ground. My last golf was back in early November and it was about 58º F then. Heat wave. You guys have to move up to the tundra. You'll get no pity from me!!

NC was great except they've got a SERIOUS "tick" problem. They're everywhere. You walk down the sidewalk in the middle of town and come home and pick ticks off you. You go anywhere there is grass and you pick ticks off you. Some drunken native American fell asleep on a grass medium of some highway and when they found him he was so covered in ticks he almost died. Gross. Other then that it was great..

My ancestors all came over here after the Civil War but I was constantly reminded I was a Yankee. Geesh.

For once I get to be one of those making smug remarks. Sitting here in shorts, about to leave for the course. It's about 70 degrees, sunny, perfect golfing weather here on the southern Gulf Coast in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Gonna hit balls for a while, do some putting then play 18. Probably won't be memorable, as I've only played on Bermuda once before in my life, but hey.....

........it's GOLF!!!.
