AT&T Pebble Beach and Phil's lack of roll off the tee

Did anybody notice the lack of roll in his drives and fairway/hybrid shots? Either the fairways were very soft and wet which inhibits roll or these latest technology clubs are the culprit.

Obviously the lack of roll didn't effect his score card!

Well, Phil got it done anyway, maybe he has reformed some of his backbone?

Let's wait and see what happens when he's staring Tiger down. The 66 on Sunday was nice enuf, tho.

These don't normally roll much, and with the receptive fairways were pretty much staying put, particularly the two hybrids I saw him hit off the tee on Sunday.
