New cart bag

Well I had a $100 golftown gift certificate that I received for Christmas and I finally have used it.
I am done carrying my bag. A combination of age, laziness, and too much crap in the bag have lead to the decision.
This is the one I just ordered

http://www.sunmountain.com/default.p...3074_3084_3014

I got the navy

I can only imagine the stuff that will be lost for ever in the dark corners of this bohemith.

Looking forward to it.

Sheesh, are you camping out at Bethpage?? That's a monster bag. Are you going to play from a cart now or use a push/pull cart and walk? You could just stick your loft/lie machine in there and adjust wedges midround.

Love the bag Lyle. Didn't see that one when I was searching so ended up with an Ogio Atlas, quit similar looking. I came to the same "carrying" conclusion a couple years ago. Never looked back.

Sweet aint it LOL.
I will be using a pull cart. Our course has those big ass wheel ricksha style carts so this bag should be a perfect match.
Dump 300 tee's in it, about 90 balls, some rain gear, an umbrella, socks and about 15 gloves and I only have to fill it once a year.

Whew, I thought you were going to ride, I would have lost respect. Just kidding. I'm the opposite direction, even smaller and lighter. I plan on carrying tees, about 5 or 6 balls (down from 8), light jacket or short/long shirt to switch to and something to drink.

That's a nice looking bag though. Great deal.

I could never start a round with just 6 balls.... that would put too much pressure on my game... I can play 54 holes with the same ball, then go out and lose 5 in one round. And that's on a course with only 4 or 5 water holes. Put me on a bad day on one of these "water comes into play on 17 holes" type of courses and I might need a dozen just to make it to the turn. (slight exaggeration, but not much)

That bag is even bigger than the Calina cart bag that I went to last fall when I finally admitted to myself that I was no longer going to be carrying any farther than from the parking lot to the pro shop. Looks like it might hold what you need though.... Where do they keep the Porta-a-John????

Great looking bag, Lyle. I wish I had seen that bag before I got mine.........the green one is awesome. ezra, .............6 balls???? Some courses I play, you can lose 6 balls on one hole. Sometimes that's all Razor brings, then I end up supplying him too.

You shoulda saved your money, got a bag that holds 6 balls instead of 90, and got some lessons instead.

I love that bag. I have the previous model C-130 and love it. Have had it for a couple years now. I love the newer model though!

I have the older model. Best cart bag I have ever seen. Would recommend it to anyone.

Likely the only downside I have ever seen is because my wife and I both have one, on some of the smaller carts you really have to cram the bag into the cart, but has always fit.

That's the bag I just picked up a couple of weeks ago too, and I love it. I got the red/black one. It sure holds a lot of stuff!

For whatever reason, the right curly bracket on your link is not showing as part of the link. I have one similar with a 7" top (1/2" less than that one). I used to use it for playing 6-9 holes after work. You get more than about maybe 8-9 clubs in there and it becomes very hard to manage. I would use it with for about 5-6, or even every other club. Not sure what the top on that one is like, but mine has 3 separators. I tried to mimize it to 2 clubs in the top slot and 3 and maybe a putter in the bottom. I would likely plan on minimizing it to 8 at the most.

Now I mainly use it for the driving range and putting greens, or even for the launchpad I bought for home.

Here is the link inside a URL.

edit 1 - Actually, if I remember correctly, mine was a bag made for Juniors, because it was available, and has a stand on it. We have another that is a cloth (like canvas) Izzo bag that folds up, but I prefer the stand.
