Yeah Bravo it's a phackin curse the aerated greens. We tend to do it twice a year May & Sept, but our greens got diseased last June and short of ripping them up we've played constantly on the lump and bumps ever since.
It's all the more discouraging because we were known for the quality and speed of our greens and we attracted a lot of visitors fees. It's got to the stage now that when I entertain people I tend to steer clear of my own course and stump up the readies for a premium course closeby.
We all bitch and crib about it, unfortunately the head gkeeper is a friend of mine, so I have to be a bit more emmm ... circumspect, but I'll give it this year and if the improvements aren't apparent I think I'll sell up and move elsewhere...
