US Masters half time reports

Brett Wetteriech, what a story, 1 tour title and now in contention for a major, listening to his post round interview i would expect the mind doctors to be jumping off their consulting couches as he seemed to be a little negative when challenged over his thoughts for the weekend in front.

Vijay Singh at T4th and then Jim Furyk at T14th are the two closest major winners, Vijay with a spluttery putter and Jim who is not quite firing on all ungainly cylinders.

Then there is the Tiger factor, apparently according to the press "stalking his prey" thats as long as his pray are creeping round trees or flying from them at least!.

It's wide open, and great to see it that way and heres to a great last 36 holes.

Tiger is going to spring from the woods and devour all of his competitors...

It's Moving Saturday and I expect his van is going to be really cranked up.

Wetteriech is a beast he is one of only a handful of guys on the PGA Tour that I think could kick the living dog sh*t out of me in a fist fight, Boo and Bubba would be on that list also.

Tiger seems to be distracted by the little birdies, and not the kind that should be on his scorecard.

If Wetterich can get his confidence up, he could take this thing. Same for Vaughn Taylor.

First two days don't count. After the weekend smoke clears it will be either VJ, Tiger, Phil(?) or Furyk holding the trophy...

I personally want the best player over 72 holes to win, be it a big name or not, i just want to see a good final 36, i hope wetteriech's confidence is good enough to get though it, to see him win would be refreshing

Although a Stenson, Rose combo would enhance my shot talk mug chances

Agreed, Wetterich and Vaughn Taylor will be gone from our screens by the end of the front nine on saturday. I look for Singh or Furyk to win, Tiger maybe if he shoots 67-68 today.

What did I say? No one is under par. Tiger's one stroke back. Mickelson is four. VJ is in there too I think. These guys play steady four days.

I don't think Taylor or Rose are going to fall apart..........but I think Tiger will come alive as he always does on Sunday and take it. VJ and Hefty just won't do it this time..........I think it will be one of those three guys. Appleby might do it too.

I actually like Apples tomorrow - I bet he sticks around, as does Rose. Taylor won't finish in the top 10 however, he just looks scared out there.

Wetterich LOL - baptism by fire, welcome to the weekend at a major.

Nice to see Kelly playing well, even if he is a whiny ass. I hope he keeps it up.

Moving day most definitely, only problem was that most people found reverse gear instead of any type of forward momentum.

Appleby, it is good to see this guy up there reaching his potential, the omnipresent woods!! and a few euro's to spice it up a bit.

My fave day in golf is about to unfold, the back side at the US Masters "Bring It On".

Hahah. Utter madness, eh !?!

I need to go and see how Rosebud finished off. Didn't see him finish off at 18 as feel asleep. Not because I was bored, but because I had too sleeping tablets that whack you and make you feel like you've had two big bongs..

Kelly's never struck me as a whiner. He seems to have great sense of humor in what I seen of him. Have I missed something somewhere?
