Launcher 460ti vs Launcher 460ti comp

Hey guys... Just wondering some opinions here. I bought a new (used) driver last week from Golf Central, the Launcher ti was price tagged at 120 Canadian, the TI COMP at $145 Canadian.

I origionally bought the regular TI (cleveland shaft) (got it for $120 tax incl). And then changed my mind, and went with the TI Comp which I also bargined on, and got for $120tax incl. The reason I went for the comp was because the face to me looked a little less "closed". Just wondering which was the better club? (the TI Comp also has a Fuji for Cleveland shaft in it, as opposed to the reg. TI having a normal clev. Shaft in it.).

Any of you know the big differences between these two clubs?. And If I made the right decision to go with the comp?.

Fr.

I had the Launcher Comp and also got R35's Launcher Ti for awhile. The Launcher Comp is not as good (IMHO) as the Ti. Both shafts suck. The disadvantage to the Comp is the composite crown which makes shaft changing risky when applying heat. You'll note the little warning tag that suggests sending it to Cleveland for shaft changes. I did change shafts in it but didn't like the shaft I put in any better then the original. If you get either with the Cleveland shaft get a shaft flex one more then you normally use because they are too whippy otherwise. My 2 cents. And you'd be far better off with a HiBore.

Both drivers are excellent, and as far as stock shafts go, they are pretty decent. I prefer the sound of a titanium driver, but a lot of guys like the composite version better. Both of these drivers are very popular at my club.

Cool Guys. Thanks for the quick replies!.

Unfortunatly it's snowing out here again (now back in Halifax)... Friggin weather is annoying. My club was supposed to open on April 21, now it's not till April 28. . So I wont get to try my driver out in real life for a while.

I did try my TI Comp at a golf sim, and hit one 313yrds with a 20 yard draw (avg out of the 8 shots I took with it was probobly 265). So that made me feel good. I also picked the TI Comp, because it looked like the regular TI had a bit more of a closed face to it, and the last thing I need is more draw.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I got an OK deal. And BTW, I think the golf sim was adding some distance for me over real life.
