    To fellow Canadians...

Are any other canadian members on the new RCGA network handicap system yet? Mostly everyone here in the lower mainland is on it now, but i can put my scores in at my club, but not at home (the new internet system rcganetwork.org).

Its the same site as they have logged on at my club, but on my conputer gives me some stupid error crap when i try to log on with my username...

Anyone else who is on it not working at home for you? Or am i just pissing into the BC wind?

I diden't even know there was a "new system". I dont have a username either. At my club we just go over to the computer..click add round...click on your name..put in your score. Done.

I track mine at home. Ya, I know, Nerd.

I like to keep stats of putts per round, GIR, fairways, ect. The courses only take scores around here. Waste of time when I can do more at home.

I put my score in at the course and do the fairways greens and all that good stuff on The Golf Channel Game Tracker. It's free and easy. I get a handicap and stats..all for free.

  7. I think it's like 15 bucks to get a USGA handicap here, so if you're not a member of a club, you can join a "virtual" club and be issued a handicap card.

Rock, on this new RCGA system you can track all the stats if you want to imput them along with your actual score.

Official RCGA handicap and you can track your stats to boot.

When you put in a total score, so you apply ESC to your per hole scores before adding it up? If not playing on your home course, does the system ask you for course rating and slope numbers, then give you a max score per hole" for you on that particular course?

I'm curious because I use the Golfonline tracker, and it asks me for those numbers before I enter my scores, and gives me a max score number (like 7 per hole).

And do Canadians use USGA handicaps, or, like the Europeans, do you have your own governing agency (RCGA?)

How do you apply ESC when entering a total score that wasn't shot at your home course? My understanding is that the max score for a hole changes, depending on course rating, tees played, and slope.

Most courses will have the ESC listed based on HDCP ranges.

  15. At my course we dont have to put in any nunbers, you select a course from a drop down list and then select the tees you played from. Simple as 3.14.
