played some of my best golf today

well i know to most of you this doesnt sound like a great 9 holes or anything but its honestly an achievement to me. i recently got back into golf within the last couple months and have been shooting terrible.. i've played 5 full rounds and all were around 95-105 on an 'easier course'

anyways.. had a couple hours to spare today so i went to a course thats slightly harder by myself.. decided if i went alone i would take my time and not rush myself.. boy was i right.. par was 35 and i shot a 43! the par 3's were eating my lunch though. i double bogeyed 2 of the 3 par 3's. oh well.. i'm just very happy with my score today and wish i woulda had time to play the full 18..

Way to go. I hear you with the higher scores of late. I'm going out tomorrow and seriously making my best effort to go sub 40 each side.

thanks man.. knowing my game though today was probably just a fluke.. i'm gonna try to get in another quick 9 before the rain heads in tomorrow around 2.. i get out of highschool at 11:15 so it should be just enough time.. i'll update tomorrow on if today was a fluke score or not

Congrats on the great score. Don't feel too bad about the par 3's... they eat just about everyone's lunch especially in the beginning.

Also be thankful you can get out to play. I've been chained to the office chair for the past week or so. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain but the later part of the week is supposed to be nice. My best friend and I are planning to sneak off Thursday afternoon to play.
