Figures, perfect ending to a f*cking perfect day. Got my car broken into at work tonight. Broke two windows, stole my deck, a $500 amp, two $300 subs, MY GOLF BAG, and all my cds. Best of all, nothing covered by insurance. Work is forwarding my next paycheck to get my windows fixed. Other then that, no golf, no system, just great. Im sorry im ranting, but im pissed off. I work at Lowes, parked right under a lamp and this is the 3rd car in 2 weeks that has been robbed. Excuse my while i go chainsmoke, drink beer, and punch shit.

but i suppose the last guy that had his clubs stolen and then posted it on here got them back. maybe you will have good luck with this situation aswell?

eh, i hope so. Im doubting it though, the pawn shops around here dont take sporting goods. Theres also no second hand sporting goods stores around, so they probably just ditched them, having no idea they have probably $3,000 in there.

sorry to hear about that.. i get paranoid about my car being broken into, and while its a pain taking clubs in and out of my car, its worth the peace of mind

hope they turn up.. its probably worth scanning your local paper in the event they come up for sale

Yeah, if i wasnt worried about putting away money for college i'd probably just use this as an excuse to hoe all new clubs. However, If they dont pop up, I can probably put a crappy set together and make it work till summer is over and i go to Florida to obtain my PGA certification and all that.

I had a system ripped off when I was younger... I knew who had done it and had all I could do not to kill the kid. No BS, actually killing him. I stalked him one night when he was on his way home from a keg party, followed him home with a butcher knife under my seat. Thankfully I came to my senses. I'd be in Maximum Security about 14yrs. away from my first parole hearing right now if I'd made that choice.

Look man, this $hit sucks, there is no doubt about it. The only thing you can control right now is how you deal with it.

Thanks ez, that really means alot to me man. I wont be needing irons, I still have my Cobras floating around here. Also have a kid paying $50 in 3 installments for my hibore, i'll just give him back the money he payed me and keep it. I'll probably go to dicks and pick up some acuity wedges and a putter or something thursday. The only good thing is, Lowes is forwarding me a full 2 week pay to get everything taken care of. It will probably take me a solid year to build my bag up to what it was.

Something I learned at a young age is that possessions are replaceable and it's not worth getting all worked up about it. Punching stuff and drinking won't make you feel better later and most certainly will make you feel worse in the near term. Drinking may cause you do something stupid and all that will do is make the situation worse. It's just stuff.....

Nothing you do now will undo what has happened so you might as well make positive steps and move forward. The best thing you can do is learn from what happened. One thing is NEVER leave your bag in the car unattended for any length of time. Take it in the house or into work. I bet you don't really need that expensive of a stereo system in the car either.
