Let me run it by you...

I am at the local 9-hole right, and I am just finishing my round. I have not needed to use my SW all day and I fall into the bunker at 9. I go look for the wedge... not there I ask my partner if hes seen it in my bag and he said no. He thought it was strange I went out with 13 clubs and just a PW and a LW. I go back to the club house steaming and I ask them has anybody turned in a SW. Nope nothing.. Now I am really pissed off and the guy realized what just occured. He plays back the security tape by the bag drop and lo and behold there is a stupid shaggy bum looking into the golf bags! Out of 4 bags 4 BAGS! THAT ALL 3 HAD SCOTTY'S HE DECIDES TO MAKE MY FING WEDGE!!!

I know its a wedge and I realize that I have to go back to Global golf and buy a new one for like 30 bucks but its the principal of the point. I am never ever ever trusting anyone or any bag drop attendent with my shit again. I cooled down after seeing the guy behind me mad that they took his 905R and he was on the phone yelling at the mother company of the course.

I swear to god guys I have never been so upset, dissapointed, and angry at once in my entire life...

Oh yea and my dad blames me for leaving it at one of the holes .

That really sucks!! I hate it that there are people out there like that. I always do my best to try to keep my clubs within site while I am in or around the clubhouse.

For a while there, I put my rain cover on my bag at all times, so people couldn't casually walk by the bag drop and say "Oh, my, I'd like to have that stick." Wouldn't stop a determined thief, but it might deter the casual one.

Are there any ID labels made for golf clubs?

I just checked GG. Absolutely 0 of those golf clubs on their website I really feel like taking all my clubs and shipping them off and never playing this game again!

That sucks, Everyone is very trustworthy at my home club but I'm still covering my clubs everytime I leave my clubs alone for 10mins.

Yeah, I was just trying to lighten the situation.

Maybe look at the walking path from where your clubs were to the nearest street where he might of walked? Check in the trees/grassy areas where he might of walked. I don't know what a bum would do with a Sandwedge, so it's just a thought.

I know its alot to ask but do any of you guys happen to have a Nike 53* Wedge? I mean I am looking desperatly right now for 1 while trying to be as patient as possible with my dad with out letting him have an earful.

but man, that sucks... people need to learn how to not just take the easy way and steal something that someone worked hard to earn.. you spent your hard earned money on that wedge, and some guy takes it just because he feels like it... chances are he doesnt even play golf...

See if you can get a still picture from the surveilance tape and have it blown up to about 8"x10".
Tell the shop to keep a copy behind the desk,
and have one for yourself.
I can promise you if that scumbag got away with it once,
he'll be back again!
