Hey fellas,

Im moving to Orlando in September, a place called Winter Garden to attend PGCC. I was looking for information on apartments and such. How much should i be expecting to pay for a small studio? Also, any of you guys know of anybody needed a roomate please let me know. I know theres a few of you guys down there, so when i come down who wants to play?

I'm about 45 min. east of Orlando, but will be into playing with you and some Orlando guys down the road for sure.

I'd expect $600 lowend, bad part of town, up to 1000-1500 monthly for really good areas. Hopefully the Otown guys can chime in and get a bit closer for you.

Winter Garden is a bit away from where I am located and I am not too familiar with that particular area. BryanK was pretty accurate on pricing from what I can remember when I first moved down here. I want to say I was in a 1BR for around $660/month for about 6 months 4 years ago. Things have changed a bit down here since then, though. A lot of the local apartment complexes went condo when the housing market went through the roof in 2005 so there are less apartments available. Does the school offer any housing options?

I live in Winter Springs just outside of Orlando but I am not sure of the housing situation up in Winter Garden. I think it is about 45 minutes away from where I leave. Let us know when you come down so we can get together and play a round.
