our league will be playing on Shepherd's Crook Golf Course on the Wisconsin/Illinois border. It's a five star rated course and looks tough...

Well I was married 10 years and divorced, single for a couple years (whoohoo, what years those were), married for 3 years and divorced and now married for 28 years. So I've been married 41 years, just not all to the same woman. Three strikes and you're out you know. Finally hit a homer.

I've played that course few times, very tough when the wind kicks up. It is one of, it not the best value anywhere. It's a beautiful links course. Will eat your balls ( I mean golf balls) up if you're not straight. If I remember correctly, the back 9 is longer than front nine, so get your birdies while you can.

Check out the attached photo. If I remember correctly, that was taken from the 10th hole looking back at the club house. You'll love the course.

I played it today. What a layout!! 5-star rating is deserved! Beautiful greens and fairways. Beautiful tough (but fair) layout. I didn't play good but enjoyed it. Golfed with 3 Illinois guys and they were a blast. Super nice guys (ssmokin has Illinois people all wrong). I hope to get sssmokin on this next weekend.
