British Open Prediction

Who will win the British Open? I think Tiger will "dominate" this one!

Hmmm I haven't really thought about it. I predict the one with the lowest score will win.

Seriously, I almost don't care. I love "The Open" and can't wait to watch golf being played the way it was meant to be played.

as much as i hate to say it Tiger.i think he`ll think he has something to prove after having the kid and everybody saying its going to hurt his game.possibly winning by double digits.

poeple just ought to know by now you dint want to make a Tiger hungry just ask sigfried and roy.

Sure. I'll go out on a limb here. If he manages to qualify, I'll take Bubba Watson.

Hopefully Carnoustie will set up a little less harshly this time. It's a firece course as it is without 4ft high rough 2 inches off the fairway.

Good links players like Els, Clarke, Harrington, Furyk, DiMarco, Olazabal etc would be Tiger's biggest rivals. I just have a sneaky feeling we'll see another first time winner and not a boomer but a guy who can think and play his way out of trouble doing the least damage to his card.

THE OPEN winner - Luke Donald, surely a European is due one......?

It will be a brilliant tournament whatever.

I have voted for very few European players in these contests....(check my votes and I have done pretty well in our Pick 'Ems) My judgement completely based on the fact that they have won so few majors since the days of Faldo, Woosnam, Olazable, Lyle, Langer. Go back into the late 80's and early 90's and European players both from the UK and Continent were winning Majors on both sides of El Pond.

I never really saw new young lions coming out of Europe with what it takes to win in the last ten years.

Somehow...this year, I think its time, especially for a Brit to win it. (just a gut feeling).

Luke Donald...Justin Rose...Paul Casey or Nick Daughtry....Darren Clarke (my personal favourite because of his tremendous personal issues) the planets are moving back...toward our Mother Country...

It's just a Cosmos thing...

I'm going with someone from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland...

Tiger's gonna have the baby blues....Veegh's fire is not bright enough....Els for some reason doesn't have quite enough...Furyk is close but no cigar.

Aaron Baddeley will never win a major. Period.
All of us atheists in the world are working together to ensure that doesn't happen.

Plus he's an arrogant pratt...
