Played like crap today..couldnt hit a fairway, or get a GIR...i was upset..ended up shooting 38-39=77..bleh..oh well..everyone has bad days..

37. 3 greens, 13 putts, one birdie. Chopped it around pretty horribly but avoided trouble.

Pulled a 40 outta my butt today, course isn't real long at 2800 yds but it has a few doglegs & some elevation changes. 5 pars & 4 bogeys kind of startled me as I wasn't driving the ball all that well but the approach shots worked nicely. Chipping was a strong suit today & I managed to land the ball within 3' of the pin at least 3 times, actually got backspin for once too...course it was only 1 time but it's a start.

Felt it would be a decent rd when I got par on the 1st 2 holes which I have never done here & I have played this course dozens & dozens of times.

Hacked around for a 40 with two three-putts and a couple other short misses. Chunks, a topped 3-wood, etc. Took a break for dinner and came back to the course. Thought things were staying bad with a missed 4-footer on #10 but went 2-under from there. First under-par 9 of the summer----and about time too. Didn't even make any putts, the birdies were from stiffed wedges. Better days are ahead!!

nice lil 32(4 under) with two missed putts inside of ten feet. longest putt made was about 15 ft. 4 birdies and 5 pars. still better days are ahead like cabinessence said

You just had to one up me, huh Nice round.

A couple days ago I shot 73 (2 over) with no birdies. Putts will start going in eventually.

hey i shot 70 the other day and made 1 putt (but it was about a 50 footer) for eagle on the second. I should have shot about 65 if i make some putts.

Another "shoulda, coulda, woulda" round where my short game (or lack of it, to be precise) crippled my score. I drove the ball very well, although my stat (7 FW's) wouldn't show it. Most misses were just in the first cut. I hit 9 GIR, which is a step up from my average 2 or 3. My irons felt good, and I think my swing changes are finally starting to take hold. But again, the chunk, thin, whiff shots from 20 yards and in are KILLING me. I should have shot an 83. Instead I scored 91.

Pretty windy in the UK as you may have noticed. I didn't swng well today but scrambled well and my short game was pretty good.

Our front nine is much tougher than the back and in our comp today I shot

654 374 764 = 46
445 454 445 = 39

Quite pleased with that consdering my long game was sketchy but only 25 putts - GIR 8, so quite a few chips from close the flag which is one reason but not to 3 putt at all is always nice.

Think I ended up joint 4th of around 60 - bridesmaid again
