Had a club match today - fourballs and we had a cracker.

I'd never played the course before and it has a lot of dog legs so wasn't confident cutting any of the corners too much. So used the TEE mainly while one of my opponents played safe and the other crashed t over the top.

3 down after 8 things looked bleak but my partner putted superbly and I played a bit of golf too and we hauled it back to AS after 15. Then we lost the 16th but my partner then struck back with a great 2 putt from 50 feet downhill to win the 17th.

TEE came out for the 18th and I hit a beauty, GW over water to the green and had an 8 footer for the match.....I sunk it for a terrific win for us, it was the only time in the whole match that we were ahead. It was top day and played in the best spirit.

82 Saturday with a 9 on a short par four. 79 yesterday with four three putts. Could not get the ball in the hole all weekend.

55 over 9 holes. crappy playing, but the rest of the golf team did about as bad, and I was only in last by one stroke.

If I could putt I'd be dangerous...

Tonight in fall league... 45 missed numerous birdie and par chances..

Friday 89 (18).... missed numerous birdie and par chances...

Last week Thursday league... 48 missed numerous birdie and par chances...

Last week Wednesday.... 43 missed numerous birdie and par chances

I just crushed the ball off the driver tonight on every hole I used it. Straight down the middle. Shortest drive into the wind was 255. Longest was 280+. Averaged 265-270. (The other guys couldn't believe it was me hitting the driver)... Irons were on the green... Put two (second shot) 3-woods on the green and a hybrid (second shot) on another hole on the green...not counting the irons...

Made a nice sand shot out of the bunker for easy par putt....

Then I had to putt... (my putting must have made me look like Bobby Orr going down the ice with the puck).

Geez this game gets frustrating some times...

Maybe I need a belly putter?

Yet another 42 today, at least I have been consistent lately. Once again no lost balls & driving was dead nuts perfect. Started out kinda crappy with a double but after that the game improved quite a bit. 4 pars, 4 bogeys & that damn double. 5 out of 7 fairways & a measly 3 GIR's but that didn't seem to hurt me.

I guess I should be pretty damn pleased with the progress this year & happy with the consistent play as of late.

I've been watching it rain all week, thank you Gustave. Today the sun peeked out for a little bit so I grabbed the clubs and headed out. On the green of the 2nd hole the bottom dropped out again. I couldn't see due to my glasses staying wet and Lamkin Crossline grips suck when wet. Ended up shooting 49 through 9 holes. The greens haven't been cut in a few days and were SLOWWWWWWWWWWW. Still no excuse for 21 putts though, ughhhh.

Choked today... went into 18 two under par... walked off the green even par at 71. Learned a lesson yet again (I have learned this lesson at least a thousand times): Don't try hero shots trying to force a birdie.

46 thru 9, been consistant lately but need to improve with irons a lot, putting and chipping was excellent, holed out twice, just those gosh darn irons.

79 with 3 birds, and six 3 putts. Hit the ball real good, but the greens were punched on Thursday and bumpy as hell. They were also quite fast which is a horrible combo.
