for most consecutive holes with the same golf ball?

I've played the very same Maxfli Tour Fire for 36 straight holes now, and I'm planning on getting in another 9 or so this evening. It's been in the woods 8 times, but I keep finding it. The finish has lost its luster, but the cover is still intact.

18 holes and I retire it to the shag bag. I always start a round with a new ball.

Not very long. I had one ball last about 22 holes before I sent it about a mile into the woods. Normally a ball only lasts 4 or 5 holes before it needs retirement. I beat 'em up pretty good.

Only about 12 holes for me. The courses I play have a lot of water and tight fairways lined with trees. It is easy to lose one if you don't keep it in the fairway. I usually go through 2 or 3 balls on a good day and as many as 6 on a bad day.

I played a Nike One Black this summer for 33 holes before I hit it into the water. Looked pretty good yet too. I've noticed the Tour Fire seems to hold up well also. I've still got a couple going from previous rounds that look almost new. It's a good ball.

My balls get pretty torn up, but in tourneys i'll play a ball regardless as long as it's still working for me. Played a ball all 4 rounds plus 4 playoff holes one week. Titleist Prov1x.

Last summer I found my Magic Ball....a pristine Pro-v1x in the ball bucket at the range. (Our range is next to the 9th hole and any meaningful slice from the tee will result in a ball 'contributed' to the club for practice usage!)

I tee off about ten minutes later and decide to use my newly found friend. Played the next three weekends with him before I dunked him in the water on the 4th round...I got 59 holes with the bugger.

Snif, snif - I was so sentimental about him that I almost waded in to retrieve him from his watery grave............

Probably something like 27 holes. I wouldn't remember specifically, but over one round.

I will change golf balls every six holes, regardless of how beat up it is. This is one of the perks of getting six dozen balls sent to me every three months.

I got in 9 more holes with the Tour Fire last evening, bringing this one ball to 45 holes. It's starting to look a little rough now, as I got some cart path on #5.

27 holes with a brand new pro v1 the on the 28th i lost it in the rough!

I played 72 holes with that Tour Fire before I "donated" to the driving range. Hit a perfect 270 yard drive with the damn thing, too.

It was a beat up Pro V1 by the end of it, but it was my 5 birdies in 9 holes ball so I kept on playing it.
