Lol,hitting against a firm left side

Well I am having to.First tentative outing since backgate occured, just a few balls at the range.

I am left with some very sore muscles all down my left side, particularly my thigh, groin and shin.Very sore, constant cramps, very very painful, but the back is fine ironically.

So I can't turn.Hips are fine, but left leg will only just sraighten, cannot get it out of the way.

I've just hit some Hoganesque nine irons. The shots were hard and powerful, really got the club on the back of the ball, really fizzed it.

Marvellous,I get so bad I can't even shit and it helps me hit the ball better.I'm taking up stamp collecting I think.

dave., what are you doing to loosen and stretch? Bicycles (on your back, left knee to right elbow, behind the head, and visa versa) may do wonders. I've been working on the ball, using a 10 lb weight to move left to right, and it has really extended my ROM. Can't hurt....

Too true, WBL, but doin' nothing is worse in the long run.

I know I posted this link before, but it's worth another go....

Low Back Program Exercises — Portal

My family hails from the shallow end of the gene pool with regard to back issues. I put together a basic back, butt, and ab routine using the ab ball, and 2-3 times per week (varying routines, 'natch) has done wonders for mine. Not to mention my turn is way better. Still can't score to save my life, but I look so good shooting 90.....
