Played outing at Alpine Valley today

And Nickelback was practicing all day for their concert there. It was cool playing golf during a rock concert... Some of the holes of Alpine Valley go right alongside the theatre but you could hear them just fine anywhere on the course!! I hit some nice shots today (scramble) but we only were one under.

Yeah, I've got some great memories of that place from my high school days. And one really bad memory, as that was where SRV played his last concert. RIP. Cool place.

How was the course, WBL? Personally, I would have ground down all my teeth if I had to listen to Nickleback all day. Can't stand 'em.

They sounded pretty darn good to me! Anyway course is so-so. Three nine hole courses. One nine is like mountain climbing. You DO NOT walk this course unless you're under the age of 25. The other two are just flat and boring. It's a ski resort also so they charge way more to play then it's worth. It was a freebee for me though and I had a great time. Made some excellent shots and you don't have to remember the bad ones.

Yeah, I know quite a few people who really like Nickelback. Just not my cup of tea. Sounds like you had a good time.
