The Golf Channel. I'm beginning to hate it. The same thirty minute segments repeating throughout the day. Inga. Poor tourney coverage (this "Live From" crap is just crap). Inga. The 19th Hole (pure hell). Inga.

I agree! Aside from actual golf footage, I can't really stand the GC any longer. Though I'm less than impressed with TNT's announcers too. Maybe us folks that are this into the game just don't need any fluff, we just need the meat and potatoes......with a tad bit of Creamer and Gulbis on the side for fun ;-)

I disagree. The Golf Channel team is unpretentious, thorough, and not nearly as obsessed with Tiger as they could be (though TGC programming as a whole has that problem). I briefly worked at a TV station and marvel at how good she is at putting together adlib intros & outros as well as just sounding professional on-air. She's not the most brilliant interviewer in the world, but compare her to anybody at ESPN in terms of level of questioning and general golf knowledge and she comes out on top.

She's not bad at her job, she just needs to take off the epileptic seizure mask and TALK to the camera. The cameraman has to use a .5 wide angle adapter for her closeups so the audience doesn't get motion sickness from her over-made up, ultra-bleached mannequin-style head bobbing all over the safe area.
