From Providence? I graduated from Smithfield High, played on the golf team. Always used to play against East Providence (or North, cant recall) at Triggs. Played there lately? Used to struggle at triggs, long course and that damn par 3 with the sloped green, never be above the hole on that one, cant remember what hole. But that was many years ago when I was young, would love to play there again seeing as Ive gained many many more yards all around.

Yeah. I play Triggs all the time. I live 1mile from it. You are probably talking about #7, after the par 5 on the front. I once saw a guy 6 putt it.

It is a tough course. Not all that long on paper but some of those holes can get long real quick. I still can't figure out how #2 is 412 yds. My best drives still leave a 5iron in. I've played par 5's that play shorter than that hole. The first 3 are actually pretty tough. The toughest openers I've played. If I can get through there +1 I know I'm going to have a good round.

So what else have you played in this area? Was "Country View" around when you were here? I go up there when my game is not going well for a confidence booster.
