How did you make your first birdie?

Mine was during my first year playing. On a 198 yard Par 3, I tee'd off with a 3i into the rain. I knew I hit it well, but after 150, lost sight of the ball in the drizzle. I thought it was lost into the woods, but when we got halfway to the green, I saw it was pretty close to the hole. When I got to the green, it was siting 2 feet from the hole! Tapped it in for birdie!

I was so happy, I gave my playing partners a sleeve of brand new nike balls (which were expensive for me at the time).

Since then, I have gotten may birdies, but you always remember your first. :P

I honestly don't remember my first birdie, may likely have been the same hole I had my first eagle. I do remember most of the eagles and the one Ace.

My first birdie and first eagle were both chip ins. That's all I remember.

Can't remember my first birdie. My one and only eagle was a chip in on a very short par 4, dogleg right. I unintenionally cut the corner due to the HUGE slice I had at the time, it somehow made it through the trees. Was about 20 yards from the green and chipped it in.

on a Par4 at stone mountain, you first lay up about 150-160 yards and I did just that. After that I had about 200 yards left over a lake into the green and so I tried to do it with a 7i but topped the ball really bad. The ball only got up a couple of feet, hit the lake, bounced up, hit a rock and landed on the green about 25 feet from the hole. I made the putt for birdie.

I'll always remember that.

My first birdie was on a short uphill par 3 on the back 9 at Ancil Hoffman. 100 yard sand wedge to 4 feet. I'll never forget it. Hell, I remember my first par.

I'm not sure of my first birdie either, but I know it was over 30 years ago...

I'm pretty sure it was on a par 3, about 170 yds. We lived in Nebraska at the time and I was in 6th grade. I hit a 3 wood to about 3 ft and drained the putt. That's the first really good golf shot that I can remember.

first eagle- drove the green to 3 feet, tap in..

first birdie- drove the green(different hole, same course than the eagle) and 2 putt for birdie

the thing about my birdie though, IT WAS ON MY FIRST EVER ROUND OF GOLF, and i had only been to the range once before that.. they call me a natural..

I'm pretty sure it was on a midlength par 4, hit a drive right into the adjecent fairway and a 7iron to 6ft. That's the 1st one I remember and was pretty excited because I was playing with my dad.

As soon as I make one, I'll describe the whole thing in detail.

First Eagle was a fringe putt from 20'. Played over trees just short of the OB. 7i from 175 to clear the trees ended up on the fringe and drained the putt
