Caddying in Florida during the Winter Months

Does anyone off here know of any courses in Florida who might be willing to offer the likes of myself a caddying job for the winter months at their club ?

I would relish the opportunity to do such a thing, meanwhile living a better quality of life in a better climate, too.

I have been a low single figure h/capper for many years and am an experienced caddy, having caddied at my home club for many years now, as well as caddying in several prestigious high level ameteur events, a EuroPro event (3rd tier of the European PGA Tour) and the Senior British Open Championship, also.

If anyone could make any suggestions, or hook me up with an e-mail address, etc., I would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers,
Andy

Try here:

Grande Lakes, Orlando, FL website

Its the only place I know of locally that definitely has caddies. Its a pretty posh resort and I have heard the likes of Tiger and Michael Jordon have been known to play there. Unfortunately, ualtim has not. Its a bit on the pricey side and my contact that was going to get me on for $30 USD fell through.

There's some real money here.

Ritz-Carlton® Jupiter, Florida Golf Resort

They have a caddy program, but I'm not sure whether they hire part-time. Work a look, anyway.

The ultimate place to caddy would be at Seminole Golf Club.
rated as #11 in the US.

Get a letter from your local pro as a reference. It may be very very helpful as an introduction....

Seminole Golf Club | Seminole Golf Course

(By American standards....) it's one of the oldest and wealthiest private clubs in the country. Guys with lots of money tip a lot....

Same with Palm Beach. Loaded with multi-millionaires.

I think getting a letter of recommendation from your pro on club letterhead is critical. He can look up the Golf Directors at these clubs and send them a letter directly from his shop to theirs.

Besides, they'd probably enjoy a fine Irish lad as a change of pace...you might make a nice living this summer....

Haha for a minute, I thought Bravo was talking about the FSU Seminole golf course, and I got really confused. Definitely not crawling with millionaires, more like poor college students like me taking the one credit-hour golf class...
