dave..what do you know about EFT that John used as part of his training..I was in contact with him on another forum and was meant to get back to him to get a draft (probably a year ago at this stage) but never did...I remember he attributed a lot of kudos to this methodology...

Its mental training,the EFT part involves 'tapping',ie tapping with your finger on your head at certain places while at the same time telling yourself certain positive key messages.It isn't hokum,its a simple and efectiove way of trainign your mind to erradicate negtive messages than invade your sub concious.If you like,Rotella tells you what to think,and this is way of training yourself how to think,but in a subconcious manner.

ie your bogey hole is the 17th,every time you step onto that tee you are worried about the water on the right.You tap out 'I am not worried about the water'.

Its more complicated than that it that there is a method,you can't just invent the tap routine and thre are experts out there and I am not one.I didn't run with it because at the time I was having a rough ride career wise and the time wasn't right,and tbh I don't actually play a lot now,just practice due to my back.When I am fit again next year I intend to look this up again

I usually do that after a bad shot.
I'll try doing it before the shot, and see what happens.
