He is deserving but he should definitely lose his addictions first. When i saw him at the PGA Championship it was sweet. Him and Ernie driving over trees. But if they showed Bubba Watson as much id be happy( not as happy), but happy lol...

He looks like train wreck right now. They guy on the golf channel the other nite insinuated that he withdrew the other weekend was because of his bad habits and not the flu.

When daly first hit the tour I was a fan. Now I think he's just a loser both on the course and in his personal life. He's had opportunity after opportunity to get his act together and he's just to stupid to wise up.

My understanding is that he does not have his card this year. He did not make it through Q-school (late 2006) and has been playing on sponsor exemptions this year.

He shouldn't get a card unless he has earned it.

IMO, He is just another tragic sports story about a guy with all the talent in the world, but who is unable to overcome his own psychological flaws. John Daly is a self-made failure.

BTW, I too was a fan at one time... but no longer.

I think my opinion of Daly started downhill when Eli Callaway extended a helping hand to JD and he bit it. Then there was the interview in one of the golf magazines where Daly bragged about how much money he's blown and how big his dick is. The guy has as much class as yesterday's used skivvies.

Daly is probably the guy most resoponsible for the "you da' man" and "in the hole" idiots at tournaments.
