I'll be pulling for Duval next year. I hope he can get his game back in shape to be competitive again.

Would love to see Duval bring his game back to the Tour.

Gluck to him in 08.

Have followed his career ever since he won the TOUR championship back in '97. I really thought winning The Open (his first and only major) would see him kick on like it has for Mickelson. Instead after the Memorial tournament in '02 he hit a slump and never contended for a title after that.

Will be great to see him back and hope he does well and takes his chance.

his wife had serious complications with the last child they had, she was put on bed rest very early and he stayed at home with the other kids. didn't play golf for seven months or so. with dudley hart his wife became ill with something and he stayed home to care for the kids.

What's so good about seeing a washed up has been hack his way around the course and miss every cut?

I say if he's not good enough to get there based on results good riddance to him. He's only taking the spot of someone who deserves to be there on talent. If Duval, or any other chopper, wants to get on the tour go to tour school like everybody else. These 10 year exemptions are just a way for past it golfers to slide in to the tour through the back door.

Wake up and smell the coffee guys. Duval as a championship golfer is history. He's a bum.

Duval deserves to be there a hell of a lot more than some of the other guys. He has been through a lot more in his life than anyone deserves to, and for him to still have the drive and commitment to come back after unselfishly taking care of his wife and child shows the character of the man. Same goes for Dudley Hart.

Granted he'll probably never be back to his old form but he'll still be better than any guy who has to rely on him dropping out to get their tour card.
I say well done to the PGA for giving these guys a second chance after what would be some pretty horrible months and/or years.
