couple of videos of my swing, i have a upright swing and sometimes have trouble with a push fade, my natural shot is a fade, gonna work on flattening out my swing plane and shortening up to not go past parallel, any suggestions on what to change or comments are appreciated

I also have an upright swing and used to hit fades. I've taken a few lessons and now I hit a stock draw. Based on things I've been told/taught I'd say a) widen your stance and bend your knees more b) take the club back as far as you possibly can on the target line, you have a distinct lift it looks like. Let the clubhead come up with the shoulder rotation, not a lift. By doing this you'll create a lot more width in your swing. "Keep your right hand as far away from your head as possible", that's what my instructor is working on with me and it creates a lot of power.
You've got a slight outside to in path, and nothing wrong with that but if you want to draw the ball it's going to have to come slightly inside to out. I've also gone to a little stronger grip but going stronger with the out-in path will cause a pull or basically a shot that starts on your "fade" path but just never comes back right.

As I would with anyone, I recommend a few lessons. I've spent $240 for 6 lessons (still have 2 coming for that price) and it's been money very well spent.

Not a lot wrong there, and there certainly isn't anythign wrong with a fade as a stock shot. A push happens when you come in from the inside, and a push fade is coming in from the inside with a face open to the swingpath. Work backwards from that. All I would work on is a posture, it seems a sensible starting point looking at the vids.

Great swing though

thanks i am gonna work on lowering my arms at the top of my swing to try and flatten out and not come over the top so much, i can hit a draw consitently but i am not comfortable with it and prefer the fade shot, i do need to pick up some distance though, i have a gps unit and my average is around 268 right now but i would like to add a few yards to that and lower my ball flight

Lowering your arms won't stop you coming over the top

I see your posture as your main problem, especially your lack of angles in your legs, very straight!

Get a bit of flex in there and this will help.

I would also ask you to do a drill whereby you assume your posture and make sure you have some knee bend, cross your arms across your chest and try to get the feeling of your upper body turning but also let your lower body turn instead of slide, because you slide on the way back you have the problem of the club coming down steeper than it went up and the clubhead stuck outside you stop the club turning over by holding the face open through impact and this is where what i would call a chop fade happens.

But you must get it round being of a cap of 3.2

when i saw the takeaway on the rear camera i was hmmm very steep...but you've got great tempo...looks great from the side view...love the way that the shoulder turn starts everything on the downswing.... looks effortless and i bet you hit the ball a mile....nice swing man

I like this picture. It demonstrates posture pretty well.

thanks, i am trying to bend a little at the knees and instead of lowering my arms i just trying ot pull my right elbow in closer to my body. I am a 3 handicap but that is mainly because i dont hit alot of drivers on the course, i play a 2 iron off the tee alot and have a little longer shot into the green, my driver is the only club i struggle with and i cant get consistent.

Try hitting some irons with your right foot pulled right back, and I mean right back, so its right behind you. This will help you to stop coming over the top coming down and will shallow your angle of attack. I am willing to guess that might be the problem with the driver, but its a guess so take it on caution.
