I played 9 on Friday after work. It was about 40 degrees at best and damp. I hit what felt like a fantastic drive on the last hole. Flush contact, nice high launch, little cut. Decided to bust out the laser and see how far it went.

I consoled myself by remembering that my balls had been in sub-freezing temps not all that long ago, but still. Ouch. That's winter golf in the Northwest for ya.

I played yesterday, it wasnt that cold but mid to high 50's but same thing. Drives looked long off the club then all of a sudden they fell like rocks back down and most irons coming up way short.

What really sucks is when it's wet to boot. Try to hit it high to get the most out of it and it plugs in the mud and you can't find it.
