I keep mine in the corner of the laundry room. It's 2 steps from the garage and way more climate controlled than the trunk of my Burb.....here in West Texas (yuck) the temps vary so much day to day you never know what your going to get.

Our house is large enough that with just the two of us here, I could have an entire "golf room" if I wanted it. If I had enough stuff to warrant it, or if I was still building clubs, I probably would have a room set aside for it.

To be honest, I don't think I'd want my clubs lying around the living room myself

Such a statement clearly shows that you don't know the ways of wives... or women in general. So good luck with that plan....

Yep, all my golf stuff is in my bedroom. Sometimes in the summer the clubs and shoes will stay in the backseat of my truck.

Either in our playroom or in my trunk (Yukon XL) depending on what I'm playing and when I'm playing next.

I store them in "my" hall closet where none of the grandkids will find and play with them. Storing in the living room, bedrooms etc. Don't you have people/kids dinking with them?

Oh I don't know...all the stuff that gives me my extra junk in the trunk seems to add to my gas too...

After every round, i get out two buckets of water...one filled with warm water and Dawn dish soap. the other is filled with just warm water. I spread the clubs out over a bed sheet and grab two old, large bath towels and a wash cloth. I wash weach club with the wash cloth and soapy water, then gently rinse clean the heads (again), shaft, and grip with the non-soapy rinse water. I thoroughly towel dry the club then rest it (face up to let any excess water run from the cavity even though the heads, grips, and shafts are thoroughly towel dried). I do this with each club, then turn each club over so the face is facing down (to air out the cavities and let any tiny driplets of water run from the grooves. If possible, I let the clubs sit this way overnight. If not, i give each club a thorough towel-drying and place the iron cover on each (two sets- one for storage and transportation and one set that goes on the irons during the course of play if I'm riding in a cart with a clown who can't drive without hitting every bump on the course). I place the clubs in the bag and zip up the rain cover. They get stored in a closet we have in one of our spare bedrooms (I call it my man-cave because I keep all of my sports stuff in there). My wife says I'm a little too anal with my clubs. My thought is, they were $1000 so I am going to take care of them. This keeps the clubs looking nice even after a couple years of use.

About half of the time, they're in the trunk, the other half they're in my office.

I tend to leave dirty socks in the trunk also. When I leave to play I slip on flip-flops and grab a clean pair of socks, then change shoes in the parking lot and leave them in the trunk after I play. Last time I cleaned out my trunk, I had 31 pair of socks out there.

I give you guys credit. On most every other forum someone would think that keeping clubs in the trunk would jeopardize the epoxy. Good to see you guys know better.

That's not anal, that's colonic.
