Anyone in Jacksonville?

I'm making prelimary plans to go down with my GF to visit my sister in Jacksonville in a couple weeks. Probably around the 10th-14th. Any of you guys nearby there be interested in playing a round?

Oh come on. I'm a "return fire" guy only. I'm a fun guy to play with and more than likely to show you one of the biggest hack shots you've ever seen and the most insanely perfect near impossible shot you've seen in a while during the same round, lol.


If anyone has any suggestions on courses that would be appreciated as well. I actually saw there is a muni nearby that's like 6700 and a par 71. That sounds like enough to keep me interested... and I'm hoping that's an extra par 3.

This bad boy ought to give me all I can take and make me not even want to play again for at least a month. I'd better order a dozen balls and have them sent to my sister's house just in case I need more. lol.

Ez that course is RIDICULOS! (doubt thats spelled right) For that go play at the WGV courses my suggestion is King & Bear over Slammer & Squire. Trust me man they're worth it.

Awesome Crossfire. I'm looking forward to setting something up. There is muni that looks halfway decent right down the road from my sister's place too. That one is $15.76 (weird price) to walk 9 so I'll probably try that one as well. I'd like to do one big,kick the crap out of me, course though.

Coming from Canada,Staying at Sawgrass Resort and Spa.2 rounds at Dye's Valley course and 3 at Sawgrass country Club.Too bad we will miss each other.Do me a favor and leave a few birdies behind for me!

I'll try, lol. You are going big time, those are not cheap courses. You might find some extra distance down there. I played in Boca last year and hit a 514 par 5 with driver, 5iron, dead level hole actually elevated to the green. I can't do that around here. It would take a striped drive to even get close to smoked 5w range from that yardage. The thing that really threw me was Bermuda greens and rough, totally different animal. I parred that par 5 when I barely had 10footer R to L for eagle. So sad.
