See You Next Year - Shot Talk

Well, I'm off to Florida for a week, will be staying at the PGA Village and getting in some good practice at the learning center and two rounds on each of the three courses they have there. Hope everyone has a happy holiday.

Lucky you. Have a great time. I'm hoping to get down to Jacksonville to visit my sister and get a round in. Does your wife play? I'm starting to realize that if I want to be able to go anywhere and play, I'm going to have to get my GF involved in the game. Going to have to find a good instructor for her, I know better than to try myself.

We actually have a runway at the airport now! They put it in last month.

No, she has just started learning though, I got her set up with a female teaching pro since it is easier for them to relate to certain anatomical differences that make her swing different. She didn't even come down with me, she decided to stay with her family since I would be practicing or playing all day.

Speaking of which, went for a 2 hour drive to Orlando and played the Palmer and Watson courses at Reunion Resort, where the Gin open was played and one of the Big Break seasons. Playing the Wannamaker course at PGA Village tomorrow and am going to try and head back to Orlando to play Champions Gate.
