Attention Wisconsin area golfers

Is there any interest in playing Erin Hills during the spring time? The course is located outside of Hartford & is frickin stunning. The greens fee for May 1st-18th is $95, after that it's $140 for Wi residents. If you want a cart that adds another $24 on to the price tag.

It's a little over what I can pay without SWMBO castrating me...

Yo W--Golfer----It's now on my list. Great find!!! Either in spring or Fall at $95 rate. Greater chance of fall as spring can get very busy on farm.

I golfed Sentry World, Lawsonia, University Ridges, Mascoutin, Trappers Turn the shoulder seasons and had a great time.

Erin Hills, Bull Run, Kohler courses, Northern Bay, Old Hickory, Legends at Bergamont and maybe some Lake Geneva courses are on list this year.

Give me a shout and I will see if I can shake free.

Guys...I wanna keep the prices down!

I wanna go on a nice golf outing...not a honeymoon with y'all!

The memorable part is supposed to be getting together,, not the view or "ambiance"!

Was not considering these courses for the Shot Talk outing. I fully agree with you with group outing. This is on ones own.

IndaCup---My string of playing golf in January in Wisconsin will be broken if we do not get rid of this snow soon. How is it in Iowa?????

Exactly, this is totally separate from the Shot Talk outing. It's for those who can afford & want to play a super nice PGA caliber course.

I might combine a trip to my brother's house in Janesville with a round there with you. I think this is a fantastic golf course.

Excellent!!
I have never played the course but I did drive out there one day just to check it out. From what I could see the course is gorgeous & is worlds better than anything I have played so far. Will probably get my ass kicked by the course but I don't care.

You're WAY up in the northwest (central?) corner. I used to deer hunt by Grantsburg and Eau Claire is a long hall. Always wondered how the courses were there. Welcome to Shot Talk Wisconsin!!!

About 2 1/2 hrs from me, that Wild Ridge course looks real nice, the Hickory Hills one would really please Lamebums...he hates par 3's

I really like Hickory Hills its a very nice gc. I played there almost every Friday over the summer. All the people are really nice, even then course mowers and greens keepers got to reconize me. I too hate the par 3's and there is so many of them.

Son goes to UW EC. Have played Wild Ridge a number of times. Great course and value. Elevation changes, fast large undulating greens, 650 yard dogleg left par 5 , Course design gets your attention. Have not played Hickory Hills but sounds awesome. Also want to play Troy Burne in Hudson.

Will PM you next time I'm headed that way if OK with you. Also down my way is Lake Arrowhead. Pines and Lakes courses excellent and Northern Bay is not that shabby either.
