Just a thought, the criteria is very broad. There are loads of possible categories,

• golf hole(s) / landscape(s) shot
• action shot
• ST relevant shot (comedy value points here)
• equipment shot.

Maybe a prize for each category? Is it judged on quality / content (subject) / layout / finish (ie photoshopped to death!)?

Do you accept B&W submissions? Are you planning to organise a gallery of all submissions?

You should ask all entries to have the following:

• Date picture taken.
• Camera / equipment used
• Any special editing done
• 30 word (max) summary of what is going on.

Do the judges accept bribes?

It's going to be a simple process, the easier the better. Golf related photo, no categories.

The contest is simple in nature. One single photo, no photoshopping, nothing professional. Each rating will be determined by the specific judge whether he/she likes it and rates it accordingly. The number of judges will create a broader spectrum for judging, so it will come down to how creative you are in the photography realm.

Hey, nudity might get you a prize. Just as long as it's not you.

Personally, I could care less what type of camera the photo was taken with as this is an amateur competition.

This is a great idea. So great, in fact, that it's managed to drag this particular lurker from the shadows.

The photo I'll be entering is sitting on my desk in front of me right now. All I have to do is make 24 more posts and I can submit it.
