I just got back from the first day of the expo. Rory (indacup) is the one of the nicest guys I've met. Quite the gentleman, he pointed out the choicest females in the area.My best fit at the Tourswing booth was a Renegade 9* with a Vengeance. Excellent feel, and I much prefer the shape to other odd shaped drivers. I was getting 100-105 or a little more swing speed, smash factor high 140s to low 150s. I don't rememer other stats, but the spin was very good. No sidespin whatsoever with the Renegade. My best was 68 rpm of draw spin.
I can't get over the feel though. It just blows my Hibore out of the water. Highlights of the Tourswing booth: some kid broke the ys-6 in his 907 d1 off at the hosel, and an enoumous Indian woman hit a ball 250. The rest of the expo was fairly bogus, not a lot there. The bridgestone guy wouldn't let me hit the J36 stuff, and it is not humanly possible to hit a Nike sumo squared 3+ wood off the deck. It is 975J sized. I had fun though. 15andlife, are you going to the expo?
ps Rory, that Renegade is mine, just give me a few paychecks...
edit: I forgot to mention the Tourswing fitter that was there. He has a nice swing which produces, get ready for this, carry of 280-300 yards, swing speed about the same as mine. His highest smash factor was 164!![]()
