Cleveland Hibore XL v Nike Sasquatch Sumo 5000 (the new one)

Hi, I just wondered what people think is a better club. I've had to send my Superquad TP back to be repaired. So I have borrowed my Dads Cleveland Hibore XL, its 10.5 stiff.

I have to say I have never been a real fan of Cleveland drivers but this club just feels so easy to hit. I just split every fairway, so much for forgiving than my Superquad TP, though it tended to go a bit high so I think I need a 9.5 and the red shaft. I just wondered what everyone thought of them.

I'm tempted, but I really want to like the new Nike Sasquatch, the normal clubhead, I've tried out the new sasquatch but I just can't seem to hit it as well as the last sasquatch which I used to own. Anyone have an opinions?.

How solid is Immelaman playing!!!!

Do you reccommend the tour then?. I play off 4 so I think I should be able to handle the tour. I've just read that its 3 degrees open and that might put me off a bit, is it really noticeable?. The club head is a bit smaller and less forgiving than the regular XL, how do you find it?.

I've got the HiBore XL in both 9.5º and 10.5º. Mine are both non tour versions but I love them. The open face of the tour kind of worries me as I've fought a slice my entire golfing history.

Im a 19 handicap. My misses are to the right but when I miss it's because of my top hand not getting through the zone in time. I guess a non-tour version would be better for me but I hit plenty of fairways. I just suck overall.

Anyway, I really don't like the way the regular Burner or Hibore looks at address. They just seem really closed, the open face really makes me feel more comfortable.

I have a Burner TP which is supposed to be 1* open and the Hibore Tour XL which is supposed to be 3* open. I can't tell the difference between the two from one being more open than the other.

I also looked at the size of the Tour's face compared to the regular version and its not that much of a difference in appearance. The overall size of the tour driver does "look" smaller.

If I'm not mistaken, the tour is only 420cc. And your right JArmour, the non tour does look really closed, I'm thinking seriously of seeing if I can find a tour head and give it a go.

There is a guy on ebay who for the past few weeks has been selling a ton of the tour versions brand new for around $120.

I've been watching closely and he has gotten all positive feedback. Im thinking of picking another one up.

I thought Id have a tough time with it but as long as I swing within myself I crush this thing. But.....when I get it going crazy I can lose it pretty quickly.

I'm not sure if to go for the regular XL or the tour XL, what would you recommend for me?.

What is your normal ball flight on your drives. If you tend to hit a big fade, you probably want to stay awy from the tour. If you hit a big draw or a hook, then the tour model might be the way to go?
