A huge day of golf

[The Salt Vampire]

One of the bigger days that I have in a while, and I didn't play or even practice. Booked tee times for 36 holes at Arcadia Bluffs (#10 public in the U.S.) for Memorial Day. One day Golf Trip coming up and a good one.

Just hung up the phone and the UPS lady was at the door, with the Creation shaft for the new Hi-Bore Tour XL. Nice surprise not to have to pay duty on it. Got that off to my clubfitter buddy and pick it up at 9am tomorrow.

Playing right after pickup with one of my favourite people in the world. A great friend that is at least 80 years old. He's a scout for the Florida Panthers and has probably seen more hockey games than anyone alive. At least 20,000 conservatively. "Big Ern" (my nickname for him) is a former Ontario lefthanders champion. He won't tell his age, but has promised me he will if he ever shoots it. Usually he's fires around 90, so he's warm.
