How much would you pay to play?

This comes from the recent post about playing with Eldrick. How much would you pay to play one round with your favorite pro golfer? This has to be relative to your current financial situation (no b.s. about "well if I were rich" yada yada yada) Does not have to be a pro-am so you can choose the course and the group.

I would pay up to about $5,000 USD. And yes, it would be with Tiger at my home course www.hawktree.com. I've always wanted to watch a pro's course management on one that I frequently seem to mismanage.

I've got $1.95 left over this week. Anybody got Natalie's cell number?

Seriously, when I bought my tickets to the Ginn Tribute, I asked about the Pro-Am. $3500. Gack. And there was no way to pick your pro. For Natalie, I would have put it on a charge card. For pot luck, I passed.

I wouldn't pay anything for myself.

However, my 6 year old son is a big Tiger fan. I'd certainly pay $5,000 if he could play a round with him. I'd be willing to pay more if I thought I could afford to.

Depends where the money goes. If it goes to a children's foundation or something like that I would pony up about $10,000. If it goes to the pro or his agents or something like that then I would pay diddly squat.

I don't think playing with a pro would be very fun. I would like to play with Paula and let her spank my ass on and off the coarse! I think 5K would be my limit and as lyle said it would have to be for some charity.

The only pro I'd pay to play with is Ben Hogan. I can beat him. Since he's dead.

Ditto. I would also like for it to be a "worst ball" scramble format, so he had to play as many strokes as I do.

1.95 would only get you nine holes with me.

Yeah, and he'd get 1.75 back in change!

I love golf and have followed it for years. I would not pay a dime to play with a pro. Heck I don't even like to watch them play. I had free tickets to the 99 PGA and said screw I would rather spend the time playing than watching.

I have $1.65 (spent 30 cents this weekend) that says you can't beat Ben Hogan even if he is dead.

p.s. Natalie had on an all black ensemble yesterday, complete with short skort, and she was hot!

Next year I'm playing in the Pro-Am, even if I have to sell my car.
