Mobile regripping - Shot Talk

Check this out.

My golf partner wanted me to regrip his clubs for him. Due to logistical issues I told him to bring his stuff to the course a little early and I'll put them on.

So I put this together to do the job.....

I was thinking this could be a nifty little sideline, set up in the parking lot for an hour or so and regrip clubs......just need an inverter to eliminate the need for an extension cord.

.....of course my friend forgot to bring the grips with him.

That is awesome.

I have thought about building a rig that I could mount and unmount my loft lie machine to a truck bed using a clamp system so I could do bending on site. This would be a great add on to that idea as well. Almost qualifies as a red neck tour van, especially if you put a shaft rack on the back window.

No.

They send stuff out and it usually comes back wrong.

A little off topic here.

How do you like that Grip rite compressor? I've run across them before, and man they seem quiet. Do they have enough snot to run a framing or roof gun?

BTW, nice set-up!

Love the grip rite (good name for the new venture, huh?).

I do finish work, it's too small for roofing, limited use framing. It's less than 2 gallons so you'd blow it up pretty quick I think.
